9:38 AM: Hung Up

sometimes when things are going well you suddenly gain perspective. you see that maybe things don't get any better. maybe someone can't do any better. suddenly flaws are clear. maybe you never had confidence in them and never will.

can these kinds of things be true?

sometimes there are stories where people fight to improve a situation, and just when it seems to go really well they give up. they give up because they realize their cause is lost.

are they right to do this?
