today i heard something worth writing down. my co-worker, who studies german literature, complained about an author who quoted something wrong, said it was from the wrong book, and said it was from the wrong language too. then he said, "i want my side to win! but with finesse! and i want them to make it hurt!" i thought that was funny. he is very angry for a german literature student. i thought that studying literature would make people calm. |

i saw snow fall for the first time. my friend cris said i should look at a flake if i could, because some really look like snowflakes that people draw. i was almost to class when one landed on the right side of my chest. it was propped up on my black wool coat. it looked like it was supposed to. there were eight or ten spokes with branches, and the branches had branches. i hadn't thought that it would have three dimensions. it did. it puffed up a little. it was chubby. |
