brain cell 1: i don't know, do you think he was flirting with you?
brain cell 2: i can't tell. is he leaning close? no, i'll bet that drunk loser bumped into him. oh shit, that drunk loser's my friend. think this guy's drunk? maybe he's just being friendly because he's drunk.
bc 1: yeah, but just in case, what do you think of him?
bc 2: too short... not quite doing it for me... mmm... nah.
and that was much of my friday night. i swear i thought guys were flirting with me at my friends' birthday party. i had thought that i could spot that kind of stuff, but if i'm correct, then there was a lot of male interest going on and that just doesn't sound right? i mean, these things don't happen to me? but anyways, that's all well and good, but i didn't like any of them. i did, however, appreciate the co-host, who i didn't get a good look at until we hit Big Tomy's (a Tommy Burger ripoff) in the wee hours of the morning. at which point i was so tired i was good for nothing but chortling and cackling. you know how when you're tired everything's funnier. until you get so tired that nothing's funny. it's a fine line.
