walked into a wizards of the coast store today and i'm not sure if it's just me, but the patrons may be too hard core for me. i mean, i've done a little of it all... paper rpgs, computer, now cards. i've definitely mudded. i've read d & d novels. but when i walked in that door and hit the pungent smell of nerd (want to know what nerd smells like? maybe i'll tell some other time) i quickly changed plans for a leisurely browse into a hit-and-run visual survey of the biggest displays. i didn't even ask them if they needed holiday help. i couldn't outnerd these nerds. i wouldn't even be able to keep up with the nerdses.
